Bridge comment on Spuyten Duyvil Railroad Bridge

I was delivering a boat for MarineMax in Norwalk CT. I called on VHF 13 and attempted to have bridge open on Friday September 14 and bridge would not open due to repairs. I was actually delivering a boat to Englewood Cliffs directly across from the bridge. I had to go all the way back and around Manhattan. Is there a phone number I can call ahead of time to avoid this from happening again? Thank you in advance.
