My wife and I spent 5 weeks on our boat at the Lyman-Morse Marina and were consistently pleased. It is a full-service marina that has a big travel lift, extensive repair, maintenance and building facilities, a well-stocked ship store, a canvas shop, an electronics shop, a fuel dock, a nice lounge with a conference room, sitting area, laundry and shower facilities—and a good restaurant. It handles everything from dinghies to mega-yachts.

However, the real asset of this marina is the culture: the personable character of the people. The clean-cut youngsters on the dock and their dockmasters, the managers running the various facilities and the mechanics that fix the inevitable boat problems are consistently knowledgable, helpful, responsive—and just plain nice.
