Protection against southerly storms. Good docks, solid cellular signal and very clean bathrooms. Also has a boat launch.

Needs Internet. Local township is currently working on improvements.

Paid over $84 for one night at a dock. I have never paid this much for a dock, in Wisconsin. The dock was clean but NOT SECURED by fencing. I was woken up at 1 in the morning by a group of partying teenagers just outside my boat. Security at this marina is non-existent. There is no mass transit in this whole town and the only driving services around were not available. The local restaurants were VERY expensive for average quality meals. Sister Bay is a port I will NOT be returning to.

This is a good, reasonably priced marina in Sturgeon Bay. Good internet, EXCELLENT facilities and VERY clean. Pet friendly.

Scott runs the place. He is informative and respectful. A good businessman.

    I will be back again...

Petoskey City Marina is an excellent Marina. The staff are very professional and comprehensive of transient boater needs and boating operations. Petoskey is a wonderful place to stay with some excellent restaurants and things to do for young and old alike. Excellent shelter in a storm, the Marina is well-protected. Across the bay there are several marinas that can actually work on your boat if you need service. Transient boater cost here is very reasonable. Drug stores and restaurants within walking distance for those who need these. Photo opportunities are astounding here because there are many things to photograph. Right near the marina is the old Petoskey train station converted to a museum. This is a must-see. Provisioning is simple. The only drawbacks were no Courtesy car and the internet had problems there. The latter was not a huge event as I could Hotspot with my cell phone but the internet system has sporadic issues. That being the only negative, I'm still giving this Marina five stars.

    Stayed 9/1 through 9/9/19.

This is an EXCELLENT harbor to stay a night in. Expensive but beautiful.

The rates are NOT Michigan DNR rates.

I am a practical sailor. I look for marine supply and normal places to purchase marine supply from as well as local stores where my provisions can be purchased at a reasonable price.

This location seems geared more towards recreational boaters and shoppers. Tourist boaters would love it.

Salty sailors like myself are glad for a good harbor but expect better.

Diesel price higher here at $3.14/gal.

Dock Price at $1.80 a foot (far higher than any other place I have been to so far on Lake MI.).

Good facility. Higher prices than average. You decide.

    Helpful staff.

Excellent harbor. Walking distance to convenience store. Walking distance to main street shops. Home town feeling. Very secure low crime area. Good food and friendly people.

The harbor breakwater protects you very well in here. Very calm in harbor and a safe place to stay during a blow.
