Bridge comment on George Bush Boulevard Bridge

Bridge tender will not open when requested for smaller center console boats. The reading on bridge was 6' my clearance is 8'... Have to wait for larger boats to call for opening... Bridge tender speaks broken spanglish...

  The bridge has a charted vertical clearance of 9 feet. Requested tide state from reviewer...no response.
