Great experience! One of the Illinois River highlights! A bit shallow getting in, and overall the marina is pretty tight for my boat. We docked overnight on the fuel dock. We were treated with the utmost kindness. The bar and restaurant was the friendliest we experienced on the entire Loop. Great experience!

Very nice marina, staff was helpful and courteous. Harbor Master Kari was accommodating and adjusted slip assignments for incoming boats as weather was about to deteriorate for the next few days. Great place in a beautiful community!
Oh, good WiFi, super clean facility. We’re enjoying Grand Haven!!!!View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Outstanding marina, laid back staff who were helpful and accommodating. Was held up there for six days due to weather. Visited just about every business in this very small town. People were friendly and welcoming; so nice, it has me considering spending future summers there.
Top notch facilities in a beautiful friendly harbor and town.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Free Dock Review for Village of Spencerport

Spencerport is a true gem! Like many of the village/town free docks along the Erie Canal, Spencerport is small but has virtually everything a boater needs all with a two block walk. There are multiple eateries, a grocery, a Dollar Tree, coffee shops, ice cream shoppes, hair salons and yes, the most critical, a pedicure/nail shop! ????
The residents were most welcome and kind. To top it off the dock is new and well maintained, directly in front of a visitor center “Depot” and museum. Overall, it was my favorite stop on the Canal!View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Arrived in Cleveland area with my wife needing non life threatening medical attention. Edgewater Marina, despite my boat exceeding their maximum length, found a open tee dock and accommodated us. These people were super! Very nice marina with floating docks. I can not speak more highly of this marina!

Marina Review for Lighthouse Marina

Keeping in mind that this place is a commercial dock, the staff, specifically Thomas, was most helpful. He went out of his way to accommodate our needs. Barnegat Light is a quaint small town and we were able to walk to the two eateries we used. Again these people were extremely pleasant and despite the marina being a bit bouncy at times, our stay was most pleasant. I look forward to returning to Lighthouse Marina.

From my initial contact throughout our stay, the manager, Steve, was helpful and accommodating above and beyond many places we’ve stayed. The facilities were not new, but more than adequate. The location is perfect for visiting area places like West Point (by rental car) and New York City, by train. Half Moon Bay Marina completely met our expectations and I will stop here again on my next trip through the area. Very nice place!

Marina Review for Charleston Maritime Center

Small excellent marina, staff was very cool, namely Logan, Christian and the manager Jeff. I look forward to returning to this place; it is convenient to lots of Charleston stuff.
My only negative comment are regarding Mother Nature as the tide flow makes entering, docking and departing a bit problematic, but the help from the staff on the docks mitigates this substantially.
My advice is to approach/depart during slack tide. This is a definite “come back” marina.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer
