Review for East Pass

The entry is a little tricky. Enter East of the flashing red “2” marker, keep to the center, and aim for the mooring float (I don’t know whose it is). Before reaching the mooring, turn port and then hug the East side. There are marker buoys on both sides, but it only decreases to 8 ft deep well beyond the buoys to the East, is about 6 feet deep within 10 feet of the reeds on that side. The side toward Shell Island looks much more shallow. No wakes, VERY quiet, small current, and TONS of mosquitos. You have been warned!
