Several boats anchored (late August), but still room available. Shoals along the south and east sides of the anchorage come up quite sharply, but also help reduce wake from the ICW passes just a quarter mile to the east.
There are two public piers nearby as well as a small beach for landing one's dinghy. There is also a choice of two restaurants on the west shore--one a little more upscale than the other--as well as two others 1/4-1/2 mile toward the gulf. The restaurants on shore have dockage available for customers.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Small, tight anchorage. Was crowded w/ long term residents. Restaurant & bar we're a tad noisy on a Saturday night. Overall, after we got anchor set, it wasn't bad at all.

Low tide exposes land just to the east of the anchor locations. MLW showed 6.6 feet on Navionics and we recorded 5 feet. This was a very crowded anchor with long term boats in the area but good for overnight if you can find the space. Sand bar party spots are to the north and east but quiet after sunset. The restaurant has docks for small boats and seems to be very popular.
