Nearby Rose Marina where you can have free pump out and put your dinghy for $5 and to get access to the town. Very quiet at night.

There is shore access at Rose Marina, they were charging $5 for use of the dinghy dock. Short walk to Publix (0.6 mile) and a small West Marine is next to Publix.
We never saw less than 6' even at low tide.
Nice place to stop for a couple of days.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

All the charts I looked at showed only two feet of depth, but I found 10 feet all the way through. The trick is to enter on the Southeast edge going around the red pylon #2, and hugging close to the houses to port.
I saw a restaurant about 200 yards away, but nothing immediately around this Bay. Aside from sounds of construction during the day, it is extremely quiet. I haven't seen any boats go past, so I can't comment on the wakes. Excellent and quiet.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Can fit about 10 boats in good depth (10'+). Do not even think about using Coconut Island in anything but flat conditions. With wind out of western hemisphere, entrance to Marco Pass is rough. Markers at the Marco Pass entrance are somewhat confusing as the channel splits three ways. Worth studying the chart ahead of time. Call TowBoat US on the radio for local knowledge. A few boats are being "stored" in the anchorage and would stay away from them. If wanting to shop will have to make arrangements with a marina or waterside restaurant to tie up dinghy and then Uber to the store. Winn Dixie has a dinghy dock but can not be directly accessed from Factory Bay by water.

Homes and hotels line the shoreline. You can dinghy to Rose Marina for a small fee. Lots of boat traffic and wakes. It did quiet down after dark. Well protected from the Southeast through the Northwest. Plenty of swing room for several boats. 9- 11' below our boat. Great access to restaurants by dinghy!
