This should be a nice anchorage but local boaters are ruining it. Pros...it's very close to a great dive trail. The city bus picks up at the park, providing easy access to travel around the city. You can walk to Publix, a little less than a mile away, over the bridge. Cons... it is very wavy due to the close proximity to the bride. Waves come in and have no where to disapate so you will never stop bobbing around. Also local boaters, using the boat ramp at the park, will buzz by your boat and yell obscenities at you. We had one man scream at us to stop sh**ing in his water and pay taxes in his city. We have spent plenty of money refueling and reprovisioning. Next trip, I'll spend my money in Ft Pierce or Biscayne Bay if this is the way West Palm Bay wants to treat vacationers passing through. Yes, there are boats here with people living on them that look terrible and I think the city should do something about it. Unfortunately, that means local people will treat everyone here like trash and ruin your vacation.

Current flow is crazy here. Lots of wakes from sportfishing boats who run 10' away from anything that they can hit. Definitely head south towards the end of the anchorage in Lake Worth.

The water is very clear with a strong tidal current. The depth is good with a sandy bottom. There is a grocery on the Northwest side of the Blue Huron Bridge and dock access on the east side of the Phil Foster Park. The worst bit is the constant wake generation from boats blasting through the ICW. At times, it is beyond ridiculous.
