This is our second anchorage as we begin our travel north on The Great Loop. A very quiet anchorage! We had some cell service, but we used Starlink, which is awesome. We had 5-7 kts from the SE and we anchored in about 9 feet of water.

Scouting Report – Turn south after Red "2" and head towards the anchorage icon with no less than 11 feet MLW approaching the back of the Cove. There is 10 feet MLW at the icon which is tucked into the back of the cove. Excellent wind, wave, and wake protection for winds from the east, through the south, and around to the northeast. Current should not be a problem as the cove is well off deep water. We did not anchor but throughout the cove we did not see anything but clean bottom. Although the cove has several large houses, there is not the feeling of being in their back yards, even though they are close by. There is an entrance to a shallow water cove to the south that might be a place to take Fido ashore. Two bars for the major cell carriers.
