Very easy in & out with good protection from N & E chop though moderate wind exposure remains so no bugs. (The SW Anchorage is temporarily less accessible due to the construction barges along the causeway but would be better in W wind. 8-10' gods holding lots of room & depth surprisingly close to the causeway

Easy access from ICW. Provided good shelter from strong north winds. Very quiet at night with minor early morning commute traffic to NASA. Great view of NASA's Vehicle Assembly Building.

MM 885 Addison Point anchorage. NASA Kenedy Space Center. The four quadrants of the bridge causeway and distant shore provide wind and wave protection, just choose which one works for the wind at hand. These areas are mostly open otherwise. The anchor areas are far enough off the ICW to dissipate the waves. The southeast quad is fantastic for view launches and taking distant photos of the rocket displays.
As far as dog shore access, you have to dinghy into the corners to find sandy spots as the causeway itself is rough rip rap.
Scenic rating is 4 only due to space center views.
