Exposed from the SE to SW. The anchorage is technically with in a slow speed minimum wake zone but does occasionally have a few wakes. Both the north and south entrances have 7+ feet of water at low. Enter between R40 and G43, or to the north following the instructions in the description. Great holding in heavy clay/shell. You will swing with current if there isn't much wind.
Road noise from the bridge is some of the worst we've experienced with many very loud motorcycles at all hours.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

We stopped here as, coming south, it's the first opportunity after a long stretch of cruddy options.
We followed the guidance and found shallow patches, soft grounding, getting in and out.
We had some wake action, regardless of the no wake zone.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Draft: 5.0'Overall Rating:2Just a word of warning. Read the entrance procedure to get to the anchorage. Do Not turn from the ICW direct to the anchorage at Green 39a. You’ll get about 20’ and then the mud grabs you. Don’t ask me how I know. And always read the comments rather than relying on your friends memory. A second suggestion is to come not enter anchorage from the north either. Try the southern entrance.
