Draft: 5.0'Overall Rating:5Holding:5Wind Protection:5Current Flow:2Wake Protection:5Scenic Beauty:4Ease of Shopping:1Shore Access:1Pet Friendly:1Cell Service:4WiFi:1Oxbow off the river with excellent wind protection all around. No wakes in the back of the oxbow but probably can be felt if you anchor close to the channel. Excellent holding in mud. No shore access but good cell phone reception for both ATT and Verizon. Plenty of room for a large number of boats anchoring in line with the slight current flowing downriver through the anchorage.. Depths vary between 10 feet to 15 feet through most of the anchorage. with 8' at both entrances to the oxbow. Definitely a first choice for the area. Shore access for pets on the island is pretty sketchy.
