The difference between Tombigbee Oxbow and Tombigbee Oxbow Boat Ramp is only about 100 yards – both are excellent. Very good hold in mud, and the anchor came up clean the next morning. The channel is long and wide, more than enough to accommodate a dozen boats. There is a mild current flow towards the river, which held the boat stable in the middle of the creek. It is very quiet and peaceful anchorage. It is a very calm dinghy ride to the boat ramp, making getting ashore very easy, and the parking area has plenty of grass for our furry friends. There is also a restroom in the parking area.
