Description:
I found this anchorage on Active Captain and thought I'd give it a try since the wind was blowing hard from the south and it (theoretically) should be sheltered. It was sheltered from the wind but not from swells coming in from the channel on the east.

Well protected, quiet night. Very little boat traffic...just a few crab boats early in the morning but all respected the 6mph speed limit. Anchor set first time and came up with a some mud. Room for 2 or 3 boats. Depth was at least 10ft. Did not go to shore. Cell service was weak.
