Well protected anchorage behind the island, with depths at least 20 feet to within a few yards of shore. The island is a wildlife reserve, no access. There is a small dock on the land side but it is private. We were well protected from a big storm when we were there in September. Minimal current but plenty of room to swing if the wind blows up the channel.
