Keep visible snags on your starboard on entering with plenty of water. Move into the cutoff 0.3 miles for 13 feet of water mid channel with plenty of swing room for six or more boats in a line. Excellent protection from wind, waves, and wakes except less for winds running NE/SW along the cutoff. Shore access at Barton Ferry boat landing .2 miles to the north. Cellular reception poor for ATT and Verizon. 1 bar for T-Mobile 5G.
