Sarah Creek has to be one of my favorites. Very pretty combination of houses and vegetation with miles of little fingers to explore in the tender. Very well sheltered, good holding with enough room for a few boats. Marina is short tender ride to restaurant or fuel, water, etc. shopping is unrated we did not attempt any.

Anchored South of the marker at the junction of Sarah Creek and Northwest Branch across from the fuel dock. There's room for 3-6 boats here. We anchored at edge of channel and swung in depths of 4'7" to over 10 feet. Watch where you anchor based on draft. Pretty area. Great access to marina and across York River to Yorktown Historic Area. Beaches available on both sides of York River.

A great spot to anchor but not much room & somefolks anchor there for some time. Convenient access to York River Yacht Haven immediately adjacent. If the winds are from the S. There is a large anchorage just E of Yorktown across the River which would work also if the creek is full

May 17 2022 Easy to access. You can visit the marina and go to the on site restaurant. Since you can visit the marina you have shore access. Good swing room but some crab pots spaced out. You can anchor here for the night and then it is only a short run to visit Yorktown landing during the day. Since the marina is right here you usually do not have any wakes as people slow down for it. Decent cell phone reception. Good place to just chill out and relax. Good holding with our Rocna.
