We anchored here in 2016 and again in October 2018. We called as we approached the lock. We were told we could go through or we were welcome to anchor behind the cells for the night. Easy anchorage with plenty of depth. However we've had to put out a stern anchor both times so we didn't swing into shore or the mooring cells. Boat ramp right there if you need to take pets to shore. Easy trip through the lock the next morning.
