Last spot to stop when heading south before you enter the trench. Good holding in 10 feet of water. The were 10 boats anchored without being on top of each other.
Had 1 bar of cell with ATT.

A great place to anchor, especially if you are headed south after going all the way down the Alligator River. This spot is at a bend in the waterway and is very well protected if the wind is out of the south or the north. The scenery is pleasant and I have anchored here many times. Sometimes the tug boats pushing barges will come through here at all hours so be sure you are well out of the channel. Every time I have anchored here I have seen 4 or 5 others anchored as well.....but there is plenty of room. Holding is good .....mud bottom
