No crab pots after Green 1. The anchorage is marked as on the starboard before Red 4. Go past Red 4 and turn to starboard and anchor in 6.5 feet of water (this is before the charted 3 feet area) with a mud bottom. This is slightly behind the point and give fairly good protection from southerly wind. A quiet anchorage. Very peaceful night.

(One of the boats in my party needs at least 5 feet, so we couldn't get any closer to land where it might have been more protected.) Good holding in mud. Easy access to the Chapel Point State Park on the east. Scenic with homes and woodlands along shore.

Chapel Point State Park is nice, we walked to St. Ignatius church, a historical Jesuit residence and working parish. We had good holding in mud and did not see less than 10 feet in depth.

Next to a state park but we did not go ashore so we can not rate shore access. A lot of smaller boats running up and down the river during the day. Quite in the evening.
