We anchored south of Chimney Bay because the bay was full of boats. The winds were from the west so the protection was good. There is no protection from winds with any easterly component. Good holding with a mud bottom.

Great anchorage but can be congested on weekends.

National Park with great hiking trails, a small lake and great wildlife. Rattlesnake area so keep to hiking paths.
