Draft: 5.0'Overall Rating:3Holding:4Wind Protection:2Current Flow:4Wake Protection:2Scenic Beauty:2Ease of Shopping:1Shore Access:2Pet Friendly:2Cell Service:2WiFi:1This is one of those places where you would not plan to be but, in a pinch, just might be enough to save the day (or night) On the north side of Blue Creek point, outside the channel between the red marker and the point, there is a pocket of 10 foot water with a sand bottom and good wave protection from the northeast around to the southwest. There is room for one boat and, as the anchorage is on a corner, boats will not typically cut close to you. Not the best place in the world but, under the right conditions, it may be just what you need to escape a storm or spend the night when Peoria is full.
