Some pleasure boat traffic but most slowed down. Current kept boat parallel to shore and motored straight out next morning. Could dinghy to island if needed. Wi-fi and cell service very spotty.

Current will keep you pointing south. Dinghy access to the island for pets, LDB of the river is all private property. Very beautiful, plus a great place to fish while you are there.

Draft: 5.0'Overall Rating:3Holding:4Wind Protection:3Current Flow:3Wake Protection:4Scenic Beauty:4Ease of Shopping:1Shore Access:1Pet Friendly:2Enter the Denson's Island Chute mid channel from the north going upstream in 30+ feet of water winter pool. Depth at anchorage icon is 40 feet. There is a 1 mph current moving through the chute so move towards island from center channel to the appropriate anchoring depth. Good holding in mud. The current will keep you oriented in all but the heavy weather coming from the north. Good wind and wave protection. One bar cellular service. No shore access. Leave the anchorage by continuing south in the chute and stay on LDB until you get to the prominent rock outcropping in shore.
