The entrance looks intimidating but saw between 9 and 14 feet coming in.
We are anchored here tonight with MV La Gypsie and we draft 4.9 and 4.5 feet.-

The depth as you go into the entrance was 8'. Don't worry about the down trees -- easy to see and lots of room to avoid them. Follow the channel markers as you enter the lake. Turn to starboard around the red arrow marker. Do not anchor after that marker as you will block the channel for other boats. Turn to port around the green marker. Anchor up towards the red markers in 6' - 8' of water. A peaceful anchorage. Good holding and wind protection.

Draft: 3.5'Overall Rating:4Entrance canal is intimidating with downed trees, but plenty of room. Entrance is shallower than the canal, probably 8-10 feet at 355 pool. Sharp right turn at the entrance to the lake, avoid the red arrow on a stick. We anchored near the two reds in 10 feet. Very peaceful. The entrance canal scenery is spectacular.

Did find 3 downed trees spaced widely with ample clearance and depth. Entrance shallowed out to about 8 ft but more than 12 into lake. Stay wide of pole with red marker as it is shallow near it.

Follow the channel markers in & it opens up into a big lake. Anchor just past the small entrance when you turn to starboard. Three boats, 37?- 3ft draft, 44? ? 5 ft draft, & 36 ? 3ft draft, anchored here with plenty of room and plenty of water.
