Turn off channel upstream into chute RDB with 20 feet of water winter pool. Go one quarter of the way up the island for 24 feet of water at the icon. Protected from all directions from waves and wind. Good holding in mud with reduced current. Excellent ATT and Verizon coverage, poor T-Mobile. Exit downstream leaving 200 yards from tail of island before turning out into channel. Room two or three cooperating boats. The anchorage is better than it looks on the charts.
