Great anchorage last night. Stuck on the first time, did throw a stern for a JIC. Anchors came up clean. Nice and quiet, one boat came in a couple hours after us but plenty of room for several with swing all around.

I liked this spot a lot. There is room for10 to 12 boats in 10 to 15 feet of water. Had no problems setting my anchor. Verizon cell service was near zero.

Great anchorage, not well protected from east & west. Plenty of swing room and very quiet except for the occasional train over the bridge.

Stopped here to put us within +/- 45 nm of Homeport, Marina . . . Nice quite anchorage, a few small fishing boats and a pontoon boat (fixed R/R Bridge limits boat sizes and traffic through there) passed by . . . Well off the Mobile River from Tow Traffic (and wakes) . . . Some shore access with dinghy, railroad noise every 2 hours or so, the closer o the bridge the louder . . . No stern anchor used, protected from East/West winds, not so much from North/ South although we did fine with

Nice spot just off the Mobile River. Palmettos and a few Cyprus trees. Active fish. Train crosses rail bridge a few times, no horn. Mosquitos at dark.
