Great holding in mud/rock. There is a charted ledge that runs north to south in which divides this cove. Anchoring is excellent on either side of this ledge. This cove is protected from south/SW and SE winds. Beach access to explore or pet duties is excellent in your dinghy. This cove, at times may experiences a swell from from the ocean to the SE (somehow sneaks in through the entrance channel) therefore, in this case anchoring would be less rollie in eastern side of this cove.
