Very remote - about a 10 minute ride to Town of Essex Town Dock. Strong current but good holding. Enter from south end - there is a bar across entrance only about 4' at low tide. Very peaceful unless you get the occasional personal water craft ripping through. Room for 1/2 dozen or so anchored.

Tried to enter from the south. Too shallow! We were getting readings of 1' below our keel so we turned around and went to a marina. Chart showed plenty of water.
