Description:
The anchorage is at the mouth of the short channel leading into the government dock at Bennett’s Harbour There is good protection from NE-SE and excellent holding in clear sand. If west winds are expected it is best to seek shelter inside Bennetts Harbour.

Wow. Spectacular anchorage, beach, and kayaking of Bennett's and Pigeon Creek. There's a couple restaurants, gas station and car rental.

A nice quiet place to anchor. No shopping seen at shore. Absolutely don't try to anchor near the concrete government dock. We tried to go in there and hit bottom midway through. Had to back out and we have less that 3' draft. Walking ashore was interesting as there was a marked path with numerous painted rocks with positive notes.
