It has a nice sand beach with picnic tables that have thatched roofs. Anchor in 8-15 ft close to shoreline. You can see the shallow sandbar on a clear day or look on satellite view. Sand is deep and anchor will set will. Good protection from NW to SE. There may be some wrap around current/waves from SE so tuck in if those winds are expected. Fine for West winds below 8-10 knots with a bit of roll. Not recommended for stronger westerlies. For photos of the anchorage and Atlantic side beaches click on the link in Admin Comments.
