12/27/22 @ 12:06 PM we had a, per tide table, a hi tide of 7.92' the tide board on the N side of the bridge indicated an air clearance of 63'11" as best I could tell. I could just see the top of the line indicating 64'. Weather was cold but calm.

Entered with a 20 knot Norther. Anchor set just N of marker in 8' of water. Very quick set and did not budge. Had a very pleasant night and pulled up the next morning with fairly clean chain and a pile of thick mud only on the 85# Mantus 2. Make sure to give Green 5 on the way in a wide berth due to shoaling.

Anchored just East of the moorings in 11'. Anchor set quickly and we did not budge. Room for several boats. Beautiful spot to spend the night with excellent protection

We ended up staying here a week visiting friends. Once set anchor never budged. Inner portion of cove is to tight with moorings for anchoring but plenty of room where we are with more room on the opposite side of cove outside of a few more moorings. It is a short ride to the Coveside resturant dingy dock. We planned on staying 2 nights and stayed a week.

Came here with friends on their 25' powerboat and tied up to someone's existing moored float to have lunch. The island pier and dock has a small rowboat for use by visitors that pick up a mooring. There are a few moorings marked private and a few unmarked that are first come. There is room inside for a small boat or 2 to anchor but it is tight. It was a great spot for our lunch stop with complete protection. I would not wish to be here if the wind is straight into the cove but that is a very few degrees near due S. Any other direction and you have wonderful calm water.

We came by land to have lunch. Service and food were both excellent. Their dock looks very accessible as we watched a couple boats come and go. Their launch service attendant was available and prompt for people wanting to get to or from their boats. Very nice place.

Fuel price was over a dollar higher than other fuel docks within 10 mile radius. Only other fuel dock within same immediate area is currently out of service. I asked if their price went up so high when the other docks pump broke down and she smiled.

We anchored on the N side of the Cove just outside the inner harbor mooring area in 12' of water for 3 nights. Great spot. Very minor current and little boat traffic. Joined friends on shore for dinner. Fog rolled in thick enough we stayed at their place as visibility went to less than 10'.

Had a great stop here. Harbormaster led us to where he wanted us to anchor which was a great experience. Anchor set well on 5 to 1 scope in 20 knots of wind and we did not move until we picked it upSo nice we stayed an extra day. Got chowder and oysters from the kids on the raw bar boat which while was a bit expensive was worth it, at least to us.

We called about launch service so we could go in and have dinner, but they only service their moorings + they were full. On the phone they seemed like more of a commercial facility than a yacht club. Maybe we will try then next time we are in the area.

Needed small Yamaha serviced while we left Toolbox on a town mooring for 2 weeks. The motor again now runs well, was done on time and the provided us with launch service which was wonderful.
    Great place.

Anchored our first night in 30 feet. Took 2 try's to get a set. Weather cell with 25 knt wind expected the next day so we moved to a mooring. It is a very crowed area but mooring was in good condition. Several mooring were available possibly as many boats left due to weather report. Had a wonderful 2 nights.

Easy pick up of a clean line. Great spot to access the town of Bristol. Would rate higher but there is no water taxi or launch service available. You must use your own dinghy.
