Great customer service...we called on a holiday weekend to see if they had any slips available...and they waited for us to arrive that evening! Thank you for everything!

Arrived 25 June and departed 28 June 2022. A natural harbor, the channel into Erie Harbor is well marked with good water depth, locals advise to stay east of Red Buoy #2 due to building west sandbar. Likewise, locals advise of nets and submerged stakes immediately north of Presque Isle. From channel entrance head for the east most red buoy, Erie Harbor Lighted Buoy 14, then proceed to channel between the Sheraton and Bayview Convention Center under the pedestrian bridge, nominal height 68 ft and water depth of 9ft. Marina personnel are very responsive, personable, and professional. Marina office/basic marine supplies, restrooms, and showers are located at head of pier. Excellent security with use of FOB. Internet is provided but has random outage. Access to city venues are within a block on State Street or patronize the numerous venues in marina vicinity. The Maritime Museum has limited open days, Thursday through Saturday. The water taxi from Perry's Landing to Presque Ilse is permanently closed, access to Presque State Park is by car or watercraft.

    WG Editor Comment:
Charted clearance is 64 feet. Clearance gauges at bridge.

Other reviews cover this marina well. Key things this year are some construction on the road next to the marina and the Wifi is spotty.

Great people. Everything is in good repair.

Good location near Bicentennial Tower and nearby conference center. Very sheltered. Floating dock. Good power and water. Clean restrooms, showers, and laundry facility. Ice available. Friendly staff. Although there are several restaurants nearby, there are no grocery stores within short walking distance. One of my party had to walk 1.6 miles each way to buy bananas.

Good stop and location. I intended to stay 1 night and stayed 5 due to a mechanical issue then a weather no go call. They gave me the name and number of a marine service company that did great and fast work rebuilding my alternator. Docks, showers and customer service were all first rate. Teresa is a gem. Trolley and buses are free till the end of august. Really enjoyed El Amigo Mexican restaurant just a couple blocks away. Lots of choices in Erie but this is a good one.

Great staff, great docks, great location, sheltered boat basin, great restrooms/showers/laundry. Easy walk to sights, restaurants, shopping. This marina is everything Dunkirk is not.

Nice marina with good floating docks. Convenient to a nice town. Decent bathrooms. Washer and dryer are $2 each. Nice spots to walk the dog just outside the marina. BoatUS members get 25 cents a foot off unless you use Dockwa to pay. The marina does not have the discount if paying through Dockwa.

Spent 5 nights here in early July. Great location, many restaurants within easy walking distance. All city buses are free through late August, so that's an option for getting to Wegman's, Lowes, Walmart, etc.

Theresa is the dock master and great to deal with. Be prepared however for no assistance with docking because the dockhands double as towboat operators and may be out on a call. Also, note that their pumpout is not working and is not likely to be repaired.

Other than those two negatives, it was a great place. Well sheltered and secure.

Great are, convenient, located on main street of a good sized city. Everything you want or need is close by including restaurants and all types of stores. Docks are good and staff is good. Previous review talked about lack of a West Marine in town, there are a number of local independent boat supply stores where you can get anything you need for your boat.

Great spot. Only for transients. Good docks, power, toilets, etc, very clean. Staff excellent. Secure. Restaurants only few blocks. Only drawback might be noisy at times due to hospital helicopters, ambulances, but really a minor issue. Would definitely go again.

We pulled in for the night and stayed a month! Convenient location, nice facilities, good people. Lots of action on the State Street waterfront leading to Bicentennial Tower, but marina is secure and bathrooms/showers are clean and well maintained. Adjacent Bayshore Marine can help with boat repairs (part of the reason we stayed) and are friendly and reasonable. Erie is a nice town with plenty of eateries within walking distance and most everything else you could want an Uber ride away (except no West Marine). A lot of things were closed during our visit due to COVID, but we managed not to go hungry. Presque Isle bay is a beautiful, protected piece of water, and the state park is well worth a visit.
