I did not need service here, but others give good marks for the service department. Fixed docks in decent shape, Single bath/shower each for men and women. Good depths at docks. Fuel and Pumpout. No pool or laundry, used in town laundromat. Plenty of Ubers, FWB/Destin airport not too far for rental cars or flights. No tourism within walking distance, need a rental car, but a few restaurants are within walking distance. Would stay here again.

I chose Two Georges for three reasons:
(1) Low fuel price.
(2) Some friends were already docked here.
(3) Reviews of other marinas in Destin had me turned off about dealing with possible noisy crowds on New Years weekend.
Two Georges is a well-maintained facility with a friendly staff. I stayed for a total of 3 nights, mostly to avoid anchoring out in bad weather on the first full day. Although I was on the outside of the end dock, my boat was secure with minimal rocking during the worst of the storm.
The docks and pedestals are in good shape and fully functional. Garbage is removed regularly. There's a dock guy whose job seems to be walking around the docks, checking in on people and boats. The docks are not gated, but I felt secure. (The surrounding area is residential.) The restrooms were clean but they were not heated. There was only one shower stall in the Ladies Room with no changing area. (I wound up showering on my boat, which I prefer not to do.) There is ample area to walk or exercise dogs.
Two Georges also has two Travelifts and a good sized dry dock area. There's a repair/maintenance staff on hand. I asked them to adjust my boat's packing nut; Ranger Tugs says it should drip once every 10 seconds and it was dripping a lot more than that, giving my bilge pump a real workout. The service guy completely stopped the dripping and when I told him it needed to drip, he did not agree. It took a call to Ranger Tugs support to convince him, but he did make the adjustment per my request. There's also a marina shop on the premises that sells many items boaters might want or need. I was able to buy 4 gallons of diesel oil for an oil change on my Volvo Penta D4; I don't know if they carry the oil filters (because I already had them) but they did not have the fuel filter.
The marina is within walking distance of several good restaurants. I liked the Aegean Restaurant with homestyle Greek food. There's a Publix supermarket 1.5 miles away by foot or bike. There's no courtesy car or shuttle at the marina, but Uber is available; figure $8-12 to Publix and $12 to $16 to Walmart, including tip.
Overall, I liked the marina and would recommend it to anyone who wants to be away from the hustle and bustle of more crowded marinas in Destin.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Thank you to this marina for allowing us to hang by fuel dock until windy conditions settled as we were passing through the bay!

We had planned to spend a night at Two Georges, partly based on their good fuel price. Before we arrived we developed a vibration on the starboard side. Called and spoke to Roy, the yard manager, who said they would take a look. Within 3 hours of our arrival we had a mechanic on board to look and come on a sea trial. They squeezed us into their busy yard schedule for two short hauls, tying us to the service dock wall in the interim, and came for two further sea trials. Communication throughout was first class, and the marina and yard staff were friendly and professional. Highly recommended; with praise and thanks to George, Roy, and all the staff.

They accommodated our need for a side tie by putting us on the backside of the fuel dock, but warned us ahead of time that is where we were going to go. Not a bad spot, we had power, water, and good WiFi there. It was a little far from the showers, but no worse than a lot of other large marinas. The women's and men's restrooms each had a single shower in them. Not fancy, but OK.

Nice marina with really good fuel prices. Friendly staff. Good docks and power. Easy ride off the GIWW. Lots of residential areas to walk a dog and a nice park a block away.

Best fuel price for a hundred miles. Well worth the short detour off the ICW.

Nice facility, new docks with adequate power and water connections, if coming through to make a quick stop and not an extended stay. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Only reason for a 4 vs a 5 , not too many restaurants or stores in the area , requires Uber unless good weather and you like to bike or walk.

This is an unhappy story turned happy.
Our boat is a 45 Carver Voyager. Slip is at Legendary Marine, Fort Walton Beach, Fl.
We are bow in and the stern sticks out.
A neighboring 45 Striker lost control in the condsiderable tidal current and damaged our swim platform.
So now the happy part.
We took the boat to Two Georges Marine in Shalimar, Fl for the repair and other service work.
The fiberglass/gel coat repair was as good as it gets – like new.
Their fiberglass guy, ET, is the best around and is just a great guy to work with.
The new owner, George Fussell is good to work with and the whole yard team (Nate, Alex, Shorty, and others) are smart and worked with us on the other service we had done.
You should go out your way to go here.
I have been boating my whole life and have done business in multiple boat yards in Michigan, Indiana, Ontario, Virginia, Chicago, Wisconsin, Norfolk, Portsmouth, and now Florida.
Two Georges Marine rates high in my experience.
