8-26-23 This is a well protected marina with a friendly staff, secure docks, and onsite ships store and grill. The channel to the marina is marked but be mindful of the seasonal lake level fluctuations. Barkley pool was 357.5 on our arrival and we did not see less than 10 ft depth from the main channel to the marina. In the past there was a shuttle to the lodge but since Covid it is no longer available. The lodge is built with native timber and worth a visit.

It took us an hour from leaving the main lake to arrive at our slip. The route is well marked, but convoluted, and you need to go slow. We did not see less than 10 feet at winter pool. On arrival at the marina, we were directed to a covered slip at the far end, pier 5. There was an incredible amount of debris, including huge logs, so passage was even slower. Showers etc over 1/4 mile walk from pier 5, so not practical to use. Slips at that end have barriers to put across the ends, so we conclude that the debris is normal, not a one off. Friendly local boaters helped tie up. No help available from staff. If you go, ask for a slip near the facilities and the restaurant. This would be 4 star if not for the debris.

Several miles off channel. Very clean with helpful staff. Small store. We were on dock 5 so too long a walk to facilities to explore what they had. As other have said watch your course on the way in and respect all markers.

Very clean, friendly staff, restaurants were not open given the time of year but it is lovely. Be sure you are clear about where the markers are for the channel. It shallows up and the green ones are hard to see against the shoreline.
