Electrical connection shorted wires that left my batteries drain and had to replace them. Want credit back for stay.

We had a very nice stay at River Marsh Marina. The harbor master, Glen, and his crew were helpful and attentive. The marina facilities were excellent and well maintained. The access to the Hyatt Resort was an added bonus. We enjoyed walking about the resort, swimming in the beautiful indoor pool, and getting takeout from the Waters Edge Grill and the Bay Country Market.

Be careful at this marina! Boards on the dock not nailed in. I fell but luckily did not get injured. When we reported it, they were supposed to check the other boards.... the next day the boat neighbor had same thing happen to her with a board six down. They never bothered to even come fix
    that one.

Beware of resort fee! We paid through Snag-A-Slip and no resort fee was mentioned in our Snag-A-Slip confirmation. It was not included on our bill at checkout. I talked to the front desk manager at the Hyatt and he had no idea about a resort fee.... it makes me wonder if the resort fee is real or something they are doing on the side...

The resort is lovely and I do enjoy the pool and atmosphere.

It's been 3 years since we visited the Hyatt River Marsh marina. I now remember why we have waited so long. The dockhands and people in the office try really hard, but there is only so much they can do with what they have. The marina is in a beautiful setting but consistent with our last visit only about 25% of the slips were full. Unfortunately, they have not kept up with the maintenance. Rationale for two stars as follows:

    1. We asked that the 3 boats in our group be put together. I was told that because of the electric issue, that was not possible. That sounded familiar. They had the same electric issues 3 years ago.
    2. The docks are in terrible shape. We witnessed a fellow boater on the other side of B dock almost have an accident. She stepped on a dock board to get aboard her boat and the dock board flipped up almost causing her to fall overboard. No one from the marina bothered to come out and fix it during our stay. We did see a dockhand roving the docks with a screw gun and screws. The docks were filthy with seagull poop. Most of the marina's we use have docks in great shape or have converted to floating docks. I can only assume that the cost to repair these docks would be prohibitive.
    3. Unless you bring your own meals you are limited to using the restaurants at the Hyatt. Reason - there is only one cab company in Cambridge, and it closes at 8 pm. No Uber or Lyft in Cambridge. Also, the Hyatt used to have a shuttle service to get you into town. The service was absolutely horrible at the restaurant at the marina. Simple things - we had 8 diners. Guess how many meals they delivered - try 7. Oops, I forgot to place an order with the kitchen for the other one.

River Marsh Marina was a great stop on a weekend with weather that constantly remained preparing to rain, but not starting. As result, we were able to utilize the resort facilities that River Marsh is famous for providing. Multiple pools, pickle/tennis, biking, bbq areas, and many more. Our first slip had an electrical issue immediately upon arrival, but we were quickly moved to a different slip with minimal hassle. I strongly recommend going off the property to downtown Cambridge. After testing both restaurants on the property vs the great food/atmosphere downtown, it is worth the time to head downtown.

Hyatt offered great amenities BUT dock hands were very sub par. No excuse to not offer Hyatt points for our stay.

The dockhands did a good job of accommodating the two boats in our group to stay together. But the marina itself is just OK. It's a long walk to the resort facilities. No reliable access to the town of Cambridge, so you're pretty much locked into the amenities at the Hyatt. We didn't receive the wifi information on check-in. There are not a lot of boats there - lots of slips, but it's probably 80% empty.

The resort facilities are great, including three pools, fitness center, restaurants, golf course and various games. Marina staff are friendly and helpful at the restaurant and the marina. Provisions are nice. A minor inconvenience, it’s a long walk to the resort but the staff will ferry you in a cart. The bigger issue is that transportation to and from the downtown restaurants is spotty. There are only a couple local cabs and if they’re out of town on a long run—happened to us—forget it. Hyatt should run a courtesy shuttle to cover the three mile trip.

Great place to fuel up and stay for the night, especially if you're staying at the Hyatt. Short walk to the hotel and easy docking on a longer floating pier.

We've been here several times over the past several years. We love the property and the marina. We were once again able to dock on the straight floating dock. We request this as my wife has Parkinson's and the shorter walk to the pools and restaurants enables her to be able to participate more. You'll note however this is a neutral rating. This is due to the dock personnel that were assisting in our docking. Personnel that are going to assist with docking need to have some understanding of boating, how winds effect boats and how to handle lines including some basic knots.

Just can't beat the price, with everything that you get because the association with the hotel the days pass quickly, great pools and great activities. Will be coming here again.

The resort is wonderful. The views from the marina are equally attractive. The docks are not in the best shape. I would request a slip at the floating docks if possible. The marina staff were average at best. The facilities (shower, laundry, etc.) are adequate. It is a long walk (3-5 min) from the boat docks to the resort. You can use the resort facilities which are excellent. There is a restaurant at the marina center.

Loved the pools and other amenities. Staff very accommodating offering rides on golf cart to resort area as it was a long walk. Unfortunately marina store was out of charcoal and grills there needed it. Maybe a propane grill would be a nice addition. Great food at Blue Point restaurant above marina office. Overall a great experience. Planning to return next year with grand kids, so much to do, miniature golf, volleyball, basket ball, game room, golf course.
