Excellent stop. Finger piers would be a nice addition but we managed a bow-in tie up no problem. The dock was in great shape and the library across the street was handy. Easy walk to a Dollar General Market. Highly recommend dinner at Forrey Grill - food was outstanding, great value, and the staff welcoming. Wish we had an extra day to explore - that will be next time.

I gave this rating because it's inexpensive and provides good basic docking with power and water. There is only 1 50 amp. The docking situation is probably most people's concern, but if you're aware and plan for it, it works. Those "slips" with power have no finger pier, so you have to exit the boat via bow or stern, whichever works. We were able to exit via the bow on our Mainsjip 400. On the piers there are no hooks, so you have to get creative on securing the vessel. Port Potty's are available at the library across the street ( clean when I was there). No showers. All said, for the price it's pretty good.

Arriveed at noon on Saturday. No one from marina answered VHF call or phone. There were no finger piers for slips with power. There was no way to get off boat unless you exit via swim platform or bow. Neither option was suitable for my boat. We continued on. very disappointed no one would answer radio or phone.

Good stop for smaller boats. Head-in or stern tie. No side docks. Several pedestals with 30amp, only 1 pedestal with 50amp. Highway bridge noise loud. Easy and cheap to reserve thru Dockwa. Walking distance to town w DollarGeneralMarketplace and fast food.

Lucky us! Dockwa took over today and now there is a $30 a night fee. Power works fine.
