We stopped here for fuel only and a bathroom break for us and the dogs, but what a beautiful landscape with rolling meadows and super quiet. Fuel was reasonable. The bathrooms were just remodeled a couple months prior of our Feb 2024 stop, and they're small but very nice. We were there late afternoon with quite a few vessels there and the bathroom was very clean. Brody that fueled us up was awesome and said there is always transient slips available. No electric or water for the vessels, but this is where we'll be staying before crossing the lake next time we head eastbound.

We only stopped for fuel which was $4.75 a gallon. The dockhand was great. The pump out was not working as I guess a previous guest dropped the suction end in the water

Port LaBelle Marina, Port LaBelle FL
Nice, quiet, clean marina with about 100 slips total. One bathroom/shower and laundry room with 1 washer and 1 dryer. Super friendly staff - Kailey. We had planned on staying at LaBelle until Tuesday but missed the "PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT OFFER POWER/ELECTRICAL IN THE SLIPS AT THE MARINA" in their marina description. It was clearly there. We just didn't read down far enough. That's on us. I am working remotely so we would have to run the generator for my computer/printer so we opted to stay one night and move on. I would recommend this marina if you don't need power. $2/foot.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

We arrived expecting to spend a night or two as we rested for the passage through more locks and Lake Okeechobee. As we settled in for dinner our generator died. The staff was very welcoming and helpful in directing us to the local conveniences. This is a remote location so don't expect to walk to a store. There are no marine supply or repair services in the area, so you must travel by car to get anything (i.e. groceried, hardware, etc. The marina has fuel, pump out and laundry facilities. it's more like a campground than a resort. There is a nice hotel within walking distance. The local taxi will take you to Winn Dixie or Walmart for other necessities. We finally had to buy a portable generator (from Tractor Supply) in order to continue on our journey. Special thanks to Shauna and Kailey for their help and pleasant demeanor. I did enjoy my (5 night) stay in this quiet, sweet little cul-de-sac off the Okeechobee Waterway.

We enjoyed our stay here. It's a nice marina that's getting a makeover. The Harbormaster is making a lot of good improvements such as lighting on the docks. We stayed here on a floating dock with a large dog and had no issues. Nice and quiet.

Easy entry with good floating dock for transients. No power! Dock manager came but several times after tying us up to see if we needed anything. The locals are friendly characters. A few miles from town but a good layover for a night. Had 7' coming into the marina. Long access road to walk a dog.

Avoid this facility. Arrived around 14:00 on a Friday, had reservations (already paid), no electricity at the docks. No one answered the VHF, or the telephone. Ended going to another place.

Easy entrance if you are a bit careful. We stirred some mud but that's all. Reasonable diesel prices although the service is a bit casual - eventually everything worked out. Best sunsets we have seen in Florida. Nice "old Florida" facility.

If your boat draws more the 5 feet, don't even attempt to enter this basin. It's solid rock bottom and you will damage your keel or props severely.
