    Bootleggers

Fuel, no pumpout (there is one at Tuscarora Yacht Club near the inlet entrance)
    $2/ft

    Nice floating docks.
Bathrooms and showers are a bit of a walk, but there are 4 shower/toilet rooms that are basic but nice and always clean.

The most frustrating part was not being able to reach anyone by phone or text on the weekend. The voice mail for the marina says they are closed Sat and Sun (really?!?), but Jimmy, the manager, says that they are open on the weekends.

On the Monday we were to arrive, I texted both numbers saying we were coming in. I got a response that there was room and I would be given a slip number. When we were in the cove, I texted and said we were 5 minutes away and we needed help docking. At that point I got a slip assignment. And Jimmy and Wyatt were there to help us dock. They do have plenty of room, but it would have been nice to have some sort of a confirmation.

After we docked, everything was fine. Jimmy was great in helping us get to the rental car place in Lockport.

Stayed here night of 9-16-21. Good docks, wide floating fingers. Power, 100 amp was good. I can't comment on staff as I have been here two times and never seen anyone. Called the main phone and voice mail gave me two cell phones to call neither of which answered. Finally sent email and waitress at restaurant said she would tell owner of restaurant as she is wife of marina owner. Water depth was 10' for me and minimum of 10' all the way in. Channel is well marked but I would not be comfortable in the dark as it twists and turns all the way in.

Bootlegger's Cove Marina sits well back in Tuscaroara Bay. The entrance is between two substantial piers and the channel is well marked all the way back. Floating docks with power and water are wide and in good shape. Th docks are reached from the bulkhead by going down steps. We had no power issues. Depth in the slip for us was 8 feet with good protection from wind and waves. No wake issues as everyone is well-behaved. The staff is friendly, the marine store is welll stocked but oriented to smaller boats. The restaurant is on a rise behind the docks and serves good food with large portions. Saturday night live music went until 11pm but was not overly loud. Sunday afternoon live music brought a full parking llot and a lot of boaters on their tables aloinside their boats. There is a nice small pool on site as well.

Our stay was good although the staff was not prompt in responding to our reservatioin queries either by phone or text messaging. There are bathrooms and showers although they are tucked away in a building on the other side of the marina. WiFi was said to be there but I could not find it in the list of sources and the staff said that it was 'pretty weak down at that end of the dock.' Cellular was good for Verizon, poor for AT&T and T-Mobile. There is no pump-out at the marina but there is one at Tuscaroara Yacht Club with a 5' control depth and a short dock for $5. The person on the phone said we could stop by. The marina is good as a staging place for larger boats going through the Welland. We had no problems with our 48x15x5 size.

I was there night of 6-1-21 and had no power issues with 100 amp plug. Staff treated us good as our reservation changed a number of times due to issues on the Erie Canal. Neighbor boaters were very helpful and channel was well marked.

Nice marina with lots of friendly boaters. Serious power issues exist. We frequently saw 99 to 103 volts on each leg of our 50 amp connection. Lots of large boats were in port impacting the voltage. Good restaurant on site. Lots of green space a short walk from the marina for walking a dog. Our last day there, a pumpout truck was available at $50.
