Nice little marina/ working boatyard. Very quaint but was definitely a place I could stay for more than overnight. Not really close to much.. 1 mile or so…. But has a great outdoor area with 2 fire pits. Also has a screened in area to get away from pests. Indoor kitchen area/ lounge, with fridge, toaster, microwave and Keurig. 2 private showers and also a men's and women's bathroom. Very friendly staff and locals!!!
We recommend as a stopover if you want a break.

Irresponsible! The marina closed before 3 pm (for Veterans Day). Though they knew we were coming, they made no attempt to contact us to for slip assignment. We were able to reach the business office who told us to call back on "option 1". BUT that line would not answer less than 10 seconds later - recording said they were "closed"! Unable to reach the office by phone or VHS, we found a guy's cell number online and called him to let him know we couldn't get through to the office. He said, "Oh, no, the girls are still in the office." They finally contacted us...gave instructions to a face dock by the travel lift to tie up on our own. Another transient boat coming in behind us had the same issues.

This is a "working" boatyard marina and exactly what we expected. The staff were surprisingly welcoming and helpful. The young lady in the office actually answers the phone when you call,(unlike 50% of the marinas) and displays the good Southern hospitality that we are accustomed to spending our lives in the Southeast.. She was awesome ! We spent one night before heading to Vero Beach - it was nice and quiet. The restrooms were adequate and we could spend several days with no problem waiting on weather. Also good place to haul out, stage your boat for hurricane season, or conduct your own repairs.

We had an extended stay here over storm season and to do some work on the boat. It's an out of the way place, but quiet and the staff and extremely helpful and it's a great place during hurricane season or if you need to work on your boat.

Good stopping point when coming from Clewiston. Tight marina but a good value for the price.

Not much here but pretty much the only option around. $2/ft for dated facilities but nice staff. Lots of boats on the hard and being worked on.

I don't think you can find nicer folks than the ones that run this place. The office ladies are kind and easy going, and the boatyard staff are friendly and always have a wave and a smile to share. Easy to get in and out. Very laid back easy going folks here. Wish everyone could be as relaxed as these folks are while at the same time being equally as professional. Cheers to Indiantown Marina!

Had originally planned on leaving my boat here for Hurricane season. I purchased Hurricane straps that were said to have been installed the following day. Plans changed suddenly and I returned to the boat a month later to find nothing had been done and the boat was leaning on the stands. Haul and launch was $450 or so. Overall just not a great experience. Will only stop here again if no where else is available.

The facility is really more of a boatyard, but the staff is great, the atmosphere laid back, and the area quiet. The rates are higher than they probably should be, but when you’re the only show in town, you can charge what you like. Still, it’s a place I recommend.

We kept our 30'Hunter "on the hard" in Indiantown during the hurricane season for four years. We always found the office staff to be friendly and helpful. The service department is outstanding. They did a 4309234 for us, and our new Yanmar and their installation has stood the test of time! Over the years, they did electrical work, fiberglass work and woodwork for us, and all their work was outstanding. We felt that the amounts charged were reasonable. They can do any work a boat needs, other than rigging on a sailboat (although they have no problem taking masts down and storing them). This is the best hurricane hole in Florida. The only negatives were the fire ants in the storage area, and a cottonwood that came aboard a sailboat and was discovered between the dodger and the cabin. The town on Indiantown lacks any good places to eat. There is one Italian Restaurant which has highly mediocre food and terrible service.

We tried for three days to get reservations for a one night stay. They were not very friendly and kept putting me off. Movng around the loop, it is good to have a slip at the end of the day. I called on 16 and was told "sorry, we are full." Why did they not tell me that 3 days before I passed. Not very friendly.

I believe some of the negative reviews are unjust. I have done business here for over two years and found the marina to be well and courteously run. Not fancy, but a good value with a DIY optional work yard. The staff are all helpful and pleasant to work with. My only real gripe is the terrible paddock for storing tenders/dinghys. There are plans for a major replacement of the main building in the near future.

Very friendly, but not helpful. No help tying up, but they did let us stay for 2 hours no charge. Not much in terms of amenities, but a welcome place for short stop over. Maintenance needed in most of the areas I looked at. Nice air conditioned small lounge.

I can't give this marina a good rating. We are transiting the Okeechobee Waterway 1/12/17 and the marina has a boat permanently tied up at the fuel dock. It is my belief that the owner of the marina is a little more concerned with profit from slip fees than he is with providing good service. The fuel hose would not reach my boat so I had to empty my jerry cans into my fuel tanks which had a little leak at the new design nozzle and then had to fill my jerry cans on the dock and reattach them to the deck. With the fuel that leaked below deck my wife and I had no sleep that night at the Moore Haven lock due to gas odor in berth. Thank you Indian Town Marina for a not too pleasant night. I will never go there again nor will I refer anyone there.
Capt. Ron PS they got one star because I can't leave it blank.

Comments: While spending the night at Indiantown Marina in July, someone boarded the boat during the night while we were sleeping, climbed onto the upper deck and lowered and stole our bike without a sound. We sleep in the lower cabin with the AC running. Unfortunately, we did not notice the bike being gone until our next stop the next afternoon. We reported the thef to the marina by email but never got a response. Caution if you plan on staying at this Marina overnight. Lock all items.

We when through a tornado and as a result the fuel needed cleaned and the fuel pumps changed. They were there to help us come in on one engine. The people that work there are exceptional. Their mechanic was in our boat to help with the repairs. We also needed GPS installed in the lower deck to ride out the stormst down stairs. They have electriction that installed the GPS. Supper nice ladys in the office and clean bathrooms.
