We had a wonderful quiet 3 night stay. Welcomed by Palmer on the fuel dock and then securely tied to a dock by Bruce for the upcoming "weather" (wind). Is a working boatyard. All people we encountered seemed friendly. Looks like there r plenty of options for needed big repairs there.

We were hauled out for work to be done on our Swift Trawler. We were super impressed by the professionalism of all the staff, especially the dock master and the haul out crew. My perfectionist captain had nothing but praise!
They were also very accommodating when, due to adverse weather, we couldn't leave as planned.
    A first class boat yard.

Safe Harbour Jarrett Bay is one of the best yards we have ever dry-docked. Super safe, very professional staff, they even check out jack stands on a regular basis. We came back to the boat as we left her, and the beat with nothing was stolen! If your a big boat Captain consider making the run north for your yard period. They have a 350t travel lift and getting a larger one shortly. Thumbs up too Mark, Bruce and there team.

We wanted to spend a night in Beaufort, but all of the downtown marinas were full (4th of July weekend). We ended up at Jarrett Bay and met Bruce the Dockmaster. Bruce got us a dock that was out of the holiday weekend wake zone, arranged for transportation into town for dinner and went out of his way to make a stay pleasant and easy. The facilities are very nice, clean restrooms, nice ship's store. I'd stay there again.

The JB service remains exceptional. I stopped for fuel and the rate was $1.42 today. The Ship Store is stocked very well for small grocery needs, drinks, boat parts (or choose to go to East'ards on-site to get even more, again, all at fantastic pricing. JB Boatworks is the place to get work done as well. very fair and knowledgeable.

We broke down while transiting the ICW. They hauled us out with little notice, gave us a nice spot on the hard, had electricity nearby and were super super friendly. i cant believe how inexpensive it was for all they did for us. Good fuel prices and reasonable transient rates too!!
