Good marina with good power and water. The location is great for those that like to go to restaurants and people watch.
The current is this river can be very tricky. Monitor Ch. 9, and report if you are going into tarpons corner. Between day beacon 11 and 12. The currents can easily push you off-course and if not careful into a wall. Lots of traffic when we were there, but it was during the Fort Lauderdale Boat show. Helpful dock attendant. Make special note of the bridge opening times for the 3rd street bridge.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Somewhat harrowing journey on the New River to get to the docks (lots of traffic on a narrow river with lots of turns) but once you get here, it's a great location. Easy walk to restaurants and Publix is a half-mile.
There are no showers or restrooms but there are electric and water hookups.
Expect lots of traffic going by - it's entertainment for a lot of us to see the yachts going through.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

One of our stops annually heading South & North usually for 3-4 days. Can have strong currents and lots of traffic. You’re tied up on the wall and we enjoy walking to downtown for good restaurants and seeing family. Be sure to monitor the radio as very often large traffic such as the Jungle Queen paddle wheeler and bigger.
