Marina quoted 4 days to pull the boat, sand and paint the bottom. It took several weeks and after picking it up and moving it approximately 15 miles to my dock, the paint was already completely gone at the water line. Marina never returned my calls or emails. Also, they took my dock lines off my boat and had them securing another boat.
I will not go to them again and have warned all my sailing buddies about the new owners.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

The Good; the best place for your boat during a hurricane, period. The Bad; A couple of years ago, the Marina changed hands. My rent just about Doubled. Fine place during Hurricane Season; not year round. I am reluctantly giving a 3 star review; because as a Hurricane Hole, it cannot be equaled.

This used to be a great little marina; that is unfortunately no longer the case. The marina has changed hands and all the experienced staff (including Tom) are gone. Furthermore, the new management has drastically increased the prices without improving any of the amenities. While work is being done, the docks have not been repaired and the channel still has not been dredged (only about 4' in places). I recommend avoiding this marina at all costs.

One of the true gems. Tom, the manager is a true professional and his team and resident contractors (Gatlin Marine and Vogt Yachts) do first class work at reasonable prices. DIY work allowed on the hard and in the water. The yard and facilities are being updated by the new owner so stay tuned for updates. (03/20).

I am a big fan of Wayfarers Cove; have been there for a few years. Maybe the best hurricane hole in the area. Tom the manager is great. They have a full service boat works, diesel, and fiberglass, with travel-lift.
I am not connected to the marina in any form, just a fan. I would still be there if I did not move to the Chesapeake BayView location on the Waterway Guide Explorer
