City run Marina with staff at fuel/pump out dock but no dock hands to assist in docking. That said they emailed a map of the Marina showing our pre-assigned slip and easy docking. Docks in good shape, wide fairways. Bathroom average, good laundry(2 W, 2 D). WiFi worked. We had two 30 amp plugs at our slip, reverse Y worked to supply our 50 amp needs. Gated access. Several restaurants , beach, museum, art center and outlet mall shopping within walking distance. No grocery close by. No pool. Giant power plant right across the river gives an urban industrial feel.

Huge marina that we did not stay but stopped for diesel fuel ($3.57) and pumpout only. It was difficult to find the fuel docks and there are 2 separate docks next to each other one for regular and one for diesel. Great help from dockhand!

Wide fairways make for an easy in, easy out. Wide fixed piers with steel fingers that may require smaller boats to utilize a ladder to access. Guests are issued a key fob for the single sex bathrooms/showers. Seafood restaurant close to the marina was good but not great. We only stayed one night and didn't venture into town. All in all, a good stop and we'd probably stop again!

Great spot. Zoo, ships store, museum, several restaurants, beach all are easy walks. Cheap fuel relative to southern Michigan.

Massive marina with great break wall protection. Good restaurant on site. There is a casino a few miles down the road. The marina needs to improve their communication. It was terribly difficult to reach them on VHF or phone.

Washington Park Municipal Marina in Michigan City, Indiana is a large marina with fixed, steel docks, bathrooms, showers, and laundry. The staff are friendly but they didn't help us at the docks. It is close to restaurants and stores. You can take a bus to Meijers grocery store and Walmart. The wifi worked well at the dock.

We stayed for a week to wait out some choppy weather. The locals are very friendly and one drove us to and from the grocery store. The Michigan City Yacht Club is open on Fridays and Saturdays. They gave us a warm welcome and we had dinner from the attached Fish Camp restaurant. One of the members invited us to crew for a sailboat race the next day. We came in 2nd out of 13, and had a blast.

We toured the Light house museum, and visited a local American Legion Hall. The legionnaires were really friendly and enjoyed hearing about our adventures. We also shopped at the outlet mall and walked on the beautiful beach. We're not gamblers, so we didn't go to the casino.

A large marina located next to a great beach, zoo, and large park. Very reasonable fees. Other than several restaurants there is little in the way of services nearby. Lots of charter fishing boats here. They go out early in the morning without raising a ripple in the marina. Tables and BBQ available on shore. Gang washrooms and showers are clean. Not much grass for dogs and it can be quite a distance.
