We were met at the dock by marina manager Wayne and Ashleigh who helped us secure the boat. They gave us a briefing on the marina, its facilities and details of shopping and eating nearby.
the location is within a nice walk of Downtown Baltimore.
we found a nice place for weekday Happy Hour with 75c oysters and cheaper drinks up the road, Lee's Pint and Shell, in Hudson St.
    well worth the walk.

9-5-24 Very easy access to the marina and slips, and great help from marina staff. Wayne was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and points of interest. Floating pool and Saturday mornings free coffee and pastries. This marina has a modified 3 phase power source. During our stay I measured 131 vac on each leg of the incoming power. My inverter charger kicked out on high supply voltage but I adjusted it to 133 vac and had no issues. During the day, with heavy power use at the marina the voltage measured 125 vac. Stayed here a week to visit Baltimore and surrounding towns on our electric scooters. We would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for 2 nights. The staff is responsive, the docks are wide with full wrap around piers at each slip, so you can get off on either side of the boat. The transient dock has a huge pool area with chairs, and grills and bathrooms - perfect for watching the sun set over the harbor. On Saturday mornings there is a free continental breakfast in the lounge. The marina has 24/7 security with locked gates, and we never felt unsafe. The marina is right next to a wide brick walkway that takes you into Fells Point, and then all the way around the harbor, if you want to walk, run or bike to Federal Hill. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Dockmaster Wayne is very professional, inviting and completes the "good vibe" atmosphere that Anchorage Marina exudes.

Anchorage Marina is just outside of the Baltimore inner harbor. They have a great facility and friendly, helpful staff. West Marine is a block away and we were able to replace our washdown hose that had sprung a leak. We took a short Lyft ride to the inner harbor. It was mid-week in October so many shops were closed.

Fantastic Staff and facility. We heard many bad things about Baltimore, but were convinced to stay here by a friend. Turns out the marina is in a safe part of town. There is great security here also. Grocery stores, West Marine, Ace Hardware and tons of restaurants in walking distance. Will definitely make this a stop every time we are in the area.

Top notch staff here. The marina has all of the necessities and a lot of extras as well. The free Saturday morning breakfasts are a great way to mingle with others and make a transient feel like he is at home. The complimentary dockside Saturday night bands are even better! Dockside feels quite safe for a city with the marina taking security seriously. The buildings, docks, and pedestals all are maintained to a high degree.

Great marina, DockMaster Wayne is excellent. Outback over the road, with marina discount, West Marine along the road, Thursday only discount, Safeway over the road and across car park, several bars easy walking distance.
Spent 2 months here 2022 and 1 month here 2023.
    Monthly rates are very low.

Anchorage Marina is a wonderful stop with a fantastic Harbormaster (Wayne). It has slips that have been sold to their local condominium owners. They rent to transient boaters at a relatively high rate ($2.50 per foot/day + $10/day for 30 amp power) that's well worth it. It has all the expected amenities (clean bathroom/showers, laundry machines, cruiser's lounge) and is within walking distance of Safeway, West Marine and many restaurants. You can also walk to the aquarium, museum, public library and many other interesting sites. The T-mobile cell coverage is strong (4 bars). The only negative is the internet doesn't work at the slip; you have to walk to the boaters lounge if you don't use your cell service.

So many great things set the Anchorage apart from the rest! First, the Dockmaster, Wayne is a gem! Always around and responsive, runs a tight ship. The facilities are excellent, always clean. Lounge has 2 large screens, ideal for upcoming football parties, pool is clean and refreshing - and has a large BBQ area and deck where they provide live music every Saturday - classy touch - gets everyone out to socialize, meet lots of great people. They also do a boaters breakfast EVERY Saturday morning - coffee, bagels, juice, fruit, assorted muffins and donuts - another great opportunity to meet fellow boaters! The marina is well secured, and a fantastic location, close to tons of restaurants, pubs, local history, tons of museums and attractions all walking distance. You will not be disappointed.

I thought I could add much to Anchorage Marina. I was skeptical upon arrival. Wayne greeted us and provided excellent direction for local restaurants, groceries and local knowledge. There is a great walkway around the north side of the Baltimore harbor, plenty of people, so great if you want to walk. We used the walkway to get to about everything we needed. I would not hesitate to stay again. Floating docks, pool, good laundry room.

We spent a month at this marina and couldn't have been more pleased. Wayne, the dockmaster, takes real pride in how the marina looks, and oversaw the renovations on D and E docks. E dock, where we stayed, has all new floating docks and the new power pedestals. When you arrive, you will see a blue roofed building with a large American flag on the face dock. You will enter at either end, depending on what slip you are assigned, and Wayne and crew will be there to handle lines and greet you. It's a large marina, and Wayne uses a Sedgway to get around. It features a huge, air conditioned boaters lounge, 2 washers and 2 dryers, with timers on them, so you know when to come back and a folding table. Ice is on the honor system at $1 per bag, available 24/7 in the boaters lounge. It is right across the street from several restaurants; our favorites were Katana Japanese food and Chesapeake Wine Company. You can see Safeway from the marina, and Harris Teeter will deliver to your slip. Go on Thursdays to West Marine and show them your marina swiper and you get extra discounts; discounts also available at Outback every day. The Uber drivers hang out at Safeway, so always easy to catch a ride.
