5-5-24 We had no less than 10 feet of water an hour before low tide from the ICW to the marina. It is best to time the tidal current before docking. There is no docking assistance, the marina is a one man operation and he is spread pretty thin. We were tied to the T head on a floating secure dock and safe walkway to the office and restaurant. The marina is mainly center consoles with a few cruisers. We left the boat unattended for a day and night without any security concerns. Everyone we met was very friendly and the restaurant has a good hamburger. There is nothing close within walking distance, or biking. If you need to rent a car call Misti 912-572-4414 and she will deliver it to the marina, very reasonable. We would stay here again.

Stopped in for fuel. $3.99/ gallon best around. However a few caveats.
They don't answer VHF (but do answer phone)
There is absolutely no signage to guide you to the fuel dock, even once you are in the correct basin. It's the dock to the Right (upstream) of the travel lift. The pumps are not visible on land, if you're lucky you may see the blue & green fuel hoses lying on the dock in front of a truly ancient Hatteras on the inward side of the floating dock to confirm the correct location.
Dock master is friendly &efficient but often busy running the store, and it's a good stroll to the fuel dock.
The current is significant and continues well past slack tide further down stream due to fresh water inflow. That said, the current is much higher as you enter the basin and more manageable at the near shore dock.
Pretty much self serve and there is only 1 hose. Took us best part of 2 hrs. to acquire 700 gallons of diesel.
Finally the river approach looks tight about halfway, but we saw 8' at low tide (-9") at the tightest spot. Everywhere else was fine.

I'll admit it: I made the trip to Two Way Fish Camp to take advantage of $3.99/gallon diesel at a time when most other marinas on the ICW are charging $5.50/gallon or more. It's just 5 miles off the ICW and I didn't note any shallow water along the way. I spent the night and don't regret it.

The staff was very helpful getting me into the tight space of the fuel dock and then into my parking space for the night at the outside of a T-dock. The current is definitely a factor; you'll need to nose in no matter where you park. The floating docks are in decent condition and my 30 amp power hookup (included in the dock price) worked fine. The restaurant on the premises had good food and good prices; it seems to cater to locals. There's a bait shop with some refreshments and lots of t-shirts. The restroom facilities are basic; I took a peek but didn't use them. The only drawback -- which you'll find in most marinas in this part of the ICW -- is biting gnats or no-see-ums, which come out in the morning and evening.

This is not a 5-star facility, but it also does not have a 5-star price. It's a great, cheap overnight stop made even cheaper if you come with an empty fuel tank and fill it before you leave.

Stopped for the night. Frank the dock master was great to work with, cleared a spot at the dock for us. The restaurant was worth the visit. Bathroom and showers a bit rough but serviceable. Certainly worth the price.

Cheap stop. Great marina. The docks are older but useable. Had no issues with power. The current is strong here, be careful if you Dock on the outside near the bridge. There isn’t much room for error. Also, the restaurant is great and reasonably priced. The ships store has all sorts of pickled goodies. Bathrooms and showers are ok. Almost reminds me of something you’d see at a park.

Interesting place off the beaten path that is exactly as advertised. The restaurant was very good. The docks are solid but well worn and the electrical pedestals are in very rough shape. I wouldn’t want to walk a dog here once it gets warm. Too many prime alligators spots.

Great place. Natural setting, friendly people. Mudcat Charlie’s is a great restaurant on site. WWG says that weekly price is $3.00 per foot. When we arrived they said that the werkly rate was $7.50 per foot but they honored the $3.00 per ft rate! They have great diesel price, but the pump is really slow. If you’re budget concious, this is the place. There is a 5 mile detour from the ICW but we found that it was well worth it. Saw lots of alligators in the area. 20 minute bike ride to Darien, which has pretty well everything you need and is a nice place. We had a plumbing problem and an employee fixed it quickly for a very reasonable price.
