The Anchorage Resort and Yacht Club is a resort that just happens to have a marina attached to it. The marina does not answer the phone or the VHF radio (I doubt if they even have one), but they did return my call after leaving a voicemail message. The staff met us on the dock to help with the lines and were very friendly. The docks are fixed concrete, and while they are showing their age, they are solid and easy to access. We used the posts to tie up, as the cleats were sparse and small. The 50-amp power was conveniently located on the dock post and worked well. The marina does not have fuel, pump-out, or any other form of marina services, but Gilbert's immediately across the channel has fuel. The resort grounds, pool and hot tub are clean and well-maintained. There are two restroom/shower rooms located behind the pool. Both were clean but dated. There is a small laundry room on the 3rd floor of the resort building. The resort is pet-friendly in that just outside of the property is a natural area under the Highway US 1 bridge supports that worked well for the dogs, but be sure and lather-up with bug spray. There is nothing around the marina within walking distance, with the exception of a bait and tackle shop and open-air bar. The bar staff and patrons were very friendly, and the food was pretty good and priced reasonably. We spent ten days at this marina waiting for a mechanic. For the majority of that time, we were the only boat in the marina. It is a $24 Uber ride to the nearest grocery/liquor store, and we quickly found it cheaper to rent a car for the week. Overall, this is a good marina for short stays.

As others have said, it is run as a resort, not a marina. No answer on the radio, so we just picked an open slip, tied up, and went into the office. We had the wrong slip, of course, but we were allowed to stay where we were. I would suggest calling on the phone in advance for your slip assignment and then plan on docking on your own. The slips are fairly easy to get in and out of.
The docks are fixed concrete, old, freshly painted, and in decent shape. We tied bowlines to the posts rather than use the cleats and felt very secure. Power and water worked fine. There are two shower rooms with toilets and sinks across from the pool. They were clean and in decent shape. Laundry is on the 3rd floor of the resort building.
The price is a bit high for what you get, but it's all about location, location, location.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

We found emphasis here on the hotel rather than the marina. In fact, it’s almost like they don’t realize they own a marina. The docks here are fairly well protected and we don’t mind docking without assistance, but don’t expect dockhands. I don’t think the problem is being short on dockhands, I think it’s that they don’t have any at all.
The fixed concrete docks are a bit worn with cleats that seem to be rusting away or barely affixed to the concrete. You can tie to pilings but they are a bit low for larger boats. There’s not much you can walk to nearby except for one restaurant that appears to be a building ready to be condemned but we did not try it.
Overall it’s not a bad place if it were priced correctly. For what you get in Largo, this place should not charge more than $2/ft but I have to give a low rating for the fact they charge an excessive $3.50/ft.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Place could be nice but isn't. No one answers the phone and when someone finally does they clearly are not equipped to help. Power at the 50 amp outlet was 10 amps. Docks are in poor repair. When I checked in I was the told the advertised rate was raised 7 months ago and was an additional $0.50 a foot. Pass by.
WG Editor Comment:
Marina response:
Apparently this boater did not see that the rate charged IS the rate published here...i am unable to verify this boater stayed with us without more info.

Wish I could report a lot of positive news:
Positives:
Clean facility, nice pool, nice hot tub.
Negatives:
Feels like a place run to be a time-share resort; very little attention paid to being helpful/respectful of transient boaters. No one around to help catch lines during high winds and swift tides, or any other time. Made special arrangements to arrive before closing to supposedly get a little docking assistance , yet no help showed up. Charged me a 'holiday premium' vs. published rates. Tried to charge me another 'holiday rate' on March 25th. Had to 'discuss' to get it changed- I hope. Concrete piers have no rub rails. Was promised 50a power - yet there was none on the slip assigned. Baths were hot and steamy with no adequate ventilation - it was cool outside. Other transients helped me dock and volunteered that they too found very few phone calls answered and no help with arriving. Pets are supposedly not allowed. This place has sooooo much promise; just a little 'customer focused' mindset would go a long way in my book. In short, I'd suggest transients think twice about stopping here, and keep their expectations pretty low if they do stop.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer
