Great place to stop, floating docks that are aged, $1 a foot, with water and electricity (dual 30s), close to Ribbers restaurant great steak and ribs.

Friendly boat club. Gas dock, no diesel. Electricity, water, restrooms but no showers. Easy walk to town, Kroger supermarket within walking distance. Very difficult to tie up without help because of steel cables running through eyebolts instead of cleats. Phone only answered after 4pm. No response to radio, but on arrival we were seen and the attendant came to help. A lot of wakes from local boaters.

Stayed at Shawnee Boat Club for three nights. Dock master very accommodating. Let us borrow golf cart to make a Kroger’s run. Had 30 amp power and water. Bathrooms in a trailer at the top of hill where they have the Boat Club set up. As of this review they only had half their member boats in the water so there was lots of room on the long face dock for us to land. Had good Verizon signal.
