The mooring field previously managed by the Las Olas Marina is now managed by the city of Ft Lauderdale. Pick up any free mooring (no reservations are accepted) and call 954-828-5423. They will send an email form to fill out and you can pay by check of credit card. The price is $35/night.

FYI, Las Olas officially closes 4/1 (no not April Fools joke). Sun-Tec is completely tearing out the existing marina, excavating the parking lots into more slips, etc. Expected delivery is about 2 years. But, that ETA is, I'm assuming, an estimate. FYI, we're a 40' cat, they could only fit our beam in a 70' slip, which we are paying the full 70'.

It was a little run-down while we were here. There are supposed to upgrading this marina soon. The staff was awesome. Close access to the beaches and downtown Ft. Liquordale.

Docked here for an extended Labor Weekend. Friendly staff directed us to a great slip just south of the Las Olas bridge with power, water, trash, wifi and a nice breeze. Beautiful views, secure location (regular sightings of the Dockmaster and security guard) and the wake from ICW traffic not nearly as bad as expected. Just a few minutes walk to the beach/shops/restaurants. There's a nice open grassy spot if you've got furry critters and showers/toilets/laundry close by. Can't beat it for the access to the inlet and for the dockage rates!

The staff are very helpful and will help you. Nice place to stay, close to restaurant and the beach. The mooring field is open again. I would go back anytime.

Good service. Priced accordingly. Close to shopping, repairs, and activity if desired. It is spread out though.
