General/Bridges/Rehabilitation From: 2025-01-31 To: 2025-06-16 Location: 29.22316° N / 81.0176° W Bridge Name: Main Street Bridge -AICW The bridge will undergo a rehabilitation beginning 2/11/2025 and end approximately 6/15/2025. Work hours are scheduled 7am -6pm Monday through Friday; No work on Holidays/weekends- equipment to be removed from channel daily. The channel will be partially obstructed beneath the closed leaf, leaving approximately 45 feet of horizontal clearance. The bridge will operate under a temporary deviation to the drawbridge operating regulation as follows: - From 7 a.m. on February 17, 2025, through 6 p.m. on April 4,2025, single-leaf only openings will be provided upon request. - From 7 a.m. on April 21, 2025, through 6 p.m. on May 23, 2025, single-leaf only openings will be provided upon request. - During the single-leaf only times, a full channel passing will be accommodated with a1-hour notice to move equipment from the waterway. This is only for vessels that need more than 45 feet of horizontal clearance but can pass without an opening.
